1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Recepie at recepie.online (the "Service"), run by Vlastevski, a private individual ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Who can use Recepie

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you are able to agree to these Terms. The Service is free. We may change, add or remove features, or stop the Service, at any time.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep your email address up to date.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us at vlastevskid@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
• One person, one account. Don't impersonate anyone.

4. Your content

"Your content" means anything you post: recipes, text, photos, videos, reviews, ratings, notes and your profile.

You keep ownership of your content. To run the Service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, format and display your content on Recepie (including its app and in search engine previews and share links) for as long as it is on the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups that are deleted on their normal schedule, and content other users have already shared outside the Service. We don't sell your content or use it for advertising.

When you post content, you promise that:

• you created it, or you have permission from the owner to post it;
• it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights. Recipe ideas and ingredient lists are often free to share, but someone else's photos, videos and written instructions copied word for word usually are not. Use your own words and your own photos, or credit and link the source with permission;
• people shown in your photos or videos agree to being shown;
• it follows these Terms and the law.

Recipes are shared for general information. Read our Recipe & Food Safety Disclaimer before cooking.

5. What's not allowed

Don't post content or behave in a way that:

• is illegal, or infringes someone else's rights (including copying other people's photos or recipe text);
• harasses, threatens, bullies or discriminates against anyone, or is hateful;
• is sexually explicit, violent or gory;
• shares other people's personal data without their consent;
• is spam, advertising, or misleading, including dangerous food or health advice presented as safe;
• impersonates a person or organisation;
• tries to hack, overload, scrape at scale, or get around the security or limits of the Service, or uses bots to create accounts or content;
• uploads malware or files that aren't real images or videos.

6. Moderation, removal and suspension

Anyone can tell us about content that breaks these Terms or the law (see Report Content & Copyright). We may review, edit to remove violations, or remove any content, and may suspend or delete accounts, if we believe the Terms or the law have been broken, or to protect users or the Service. Where reasonable and allowed by law, we will tell you what was removed and why, and you can reply to vlastevskid@gmail.com if you think we got it wrong. We do not check content before it is published and are not responsible for content posted by users.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Recepie infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated contact, Vlastevski, at vlastevskid@gmail.com, following the steps on our Report Content & Copyright page. We remove infringing content promptly, may restore it if we receive a valid counter-notice, and close the accounts of repeat infringers.

8. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Account Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop the Service. Sections 4 (for content already shared), 9, 10, 11 and 13 continue to apply after your account ends.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any recipe or other user content is accurate, safe, or suitable for you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or any harm arising from user content, including from preparing or eating food based on recipes on the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to €50 (or the equivalent in your currency).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or intent, and nothing affects your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you posted or because you broke these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for important changes, tell registered users by email or on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia. Disputes will be handled by the courts of North Macedonia. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts.
