Report something on Recepie
If you're logged in, the quickest way is the Report button:
- Recipes: in the action row under the recipe photo.
- Reviews: next to each review on a recipe page.
- Profiles: next to the Follow button on a user's profile.
Pick a reason (spam, inappropriate content, harassment, copyright, misinformation or other) and add details if you
can. Reports are private: the person you report is not told who reported them. We review reports and remove content
or suspend accounts that break our Terms of Service or the law.

and what's wrong with it.
Copyright complaints
If you believe a recipe, photo, video or other content on Recepie copies your work without permission, send a notice
to our designated copyright contact:
Vlastevski
vlastevskid@gmail.com
Your notice must include:
- your name, postal address, phone number and email;
- a description of the copyrighted work (for example a link to your original recipe or photo);
- the exact link(s) on Recepie to the content you want removed;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine).
Ingredient lists and basic cooking methods are generally not protected by copyright, but photos, videos and the
written wording of a recipe often are. Sending a knowingly false notice may make you liable for damages.
What happens next
- We review the notice and, if it is valid, remove or disable the content promptly.
- Where we can, we tell the person who posted it, explain why, and share the complaint (your contact details may be included so they can respond).
-
Counter-notice: if your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email us with your
name, address, phone number, the link to the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe
it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts named in our Terms. We may restore the
content unless the complainant tells us they have started legal action.
- We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
